  • At Step Ahead, we prioritize quality care and individual attention by maintaining low staff-to-child ratios that meet or exceed state guidelines. This ensures that every child receives the support, supervision, and engagement they need to thrive.

    Our Ratios by Age Group:

    • Infants & Young Toddlers (Under 2 years) – 1 teacher per 4 children (1:4)

    • 2-Year-Olds – 1 teacher per 7 children (1:7)

    • 3-Year-Olds – 1 teacher per 10 children (1:10)

    • 4+ Years Old – 1 teacher per 12 children (1:12)

These ratios allow us to foster strong relationships, support early learning, and provide a safe, nurturing environment for every child in our care.
